About Me
Hello! My name is Emily O'Rourke and I am currently a senior at Kean University working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. I have always had a passion for cosmetics, and all things beauty. I even went to a summer camp for Movie Make-up and Special FX at age 11!
I have had an exciting ten year career as a hairstylist/make-up artist, and currently I am making the career transition from Hair into Marketing. As a student of Kean University working towards my degree, I am soon hoping to combine my skills and knowledge learned from working behind the chair, with all the knowledge I've learned as a Marketing student, into a career in Digital Marketing.
I created this blog to combine my passion of the cosmetic and beauty industry, with skills I am learning through my Internet Marketing Course. I was inspired for the idea for this blog by one of my favorite books, "Compacts and Cosmetics" written by Madeleine Marsh (which I highly recommend!).
